Abstract

My life as an artist is a work in progress.  I am constantly challenging my comfort zone by trying new techniques and tools to achieve the results I want.  Learning something from every piece has always been important.  My abstract pieces tell a story of my life.  My art will continue to evolve and reflect the things that I learn.

As I refine my process I hope to capture and reflect the emotion of the moment in each painting.  I desire that my body of work evolve in a direction that will communicate to the viewer the balance of who I am and what I have been.

Abstract paintings have a unique ability to let the viewer see what they want to see.  Although my paintings tell my story to me, the viewer will see what they want and then tell their own story.  I love hearing the different things people see in my art, and it’s rarely the same.
