My beautiful friend and I started making these necklaces as a form of relaxing our minds and expressing our creativity in a different outlet. The items that I collected for these necklaces are special symbols to me.
The Dream Catcher – A Native American symbol that protects sleepers from bad dreams by catching them on the web. Sometimes we need a reminder not to be afraid, for even when we sleep there is someone watching over us.
Cross – I love all kinds of crosses. They are a reminder of my faith and how much was sacrificed for me.
Thunderbird – A Native American image that protects and guides souls through the afterlife. I like to think they are like guardian angels, watching over us as we travel our life.
Arrow – The Right facing arrow is a symbol of protection. I embraced the arrow under my signature on all my paintings after the tornado in 2019.
